I am able to receive email but not send with the Thunderbird client. The help page says to use server "plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com" as the outgoing server, but this does not work. I added my Yahoo username but am repeatedly prompted for the password when trying to send.

For yahoo mail you need upgrade to yahoo mail plus (@ $19.99 per year).to get the full pop3 service for access to Outlook,Incredimail, Thunderbird and others.

* Incoming Mail Server (POP3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
Use SSL, port: 995
* Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication.
