How do I change/edit my contact name in the "From" part of the email on yahoo classic?

I have changed/edited it in my account and mail but it stills says the wrong name. Please help. This is so aggravating!!!

You just need to change the "from line" setting.





Mail page%26gt;%26gt;options (top right)%26gt;%26gt;scroll to and click on "general preferences". At the top of that page----erase the name that shows on the From line and type in something else---a nickname or an alias or whatever suits you-----then click "save" at bottom of page.





Just in case you're using the "New Mail".

Reply:Ok for yahoo mail classic.


You go to your mail, then go to options-mai options.


Then go to General Preferances and under name and email type the name you want in the From Name section box. It should work.
