It is done through Yahoo Messenger. Logon to Messenger, click Messenger from the menu, then Preferences, then click Alerts %26amp; Sounds, then click Enable alert sounds, select "I receive a message in Yahoo! Mail", then click Play a sound, select the sound file you like, then click OK. Make sure Messenger is running and you will get a sound alert when you receive an email :)
