I received a threatening email from member gunsnroses. How do I report him to Yahoo answers?

Yahoo takes email abuse seriously, so they should be on top of it. In the mean time, block the user so they can't send you any more nasty emails.

Go to his profile and click Block User.


You may want to eliminate access to your email for the time being. go to your profile click Edit my info and uncheck the box allowing users to contact you by email.


If he keeps up then go to what's new in your email page and click help. You might find some answers there. If not, enter Report Threatening Emails in the Help Search box.


I'm sorry this happened to you; unfortunately there are people like that on this site.
Reply:I agree with Lynn 33 that you should report him and block him on your page. You should not have to feel threatened by another member on any website.

Reply:Email the Yahoo team at y_answrs_team@yahoo.com ("e" intentnionally removed from the word answers ). If you have copies of the threatening emails forward or include them.
Reply:There is a 'report abuse' box directly under the box that says "Answer This Question".
Reply:by clicking on "repot abuse".
Reply:You'll always get abussive emails.
